Touring in Brazil
I know these pictures don't sum up the weather down here in Brazil but this was the one day I remembered to bring my camera. The city of Florianopolis was pretty beautiful even on a gloomy day. The experience down here was fantastic. Everywhere I went people had the time of day to talk to me despite the fact that I couldn't speak their language. The best part to traveling to another country for me is when you engage in a conversation with someone who doesn't speak your language but are able to come to some sort of understanding of what one another is saying. It's also a good feeling playing music in another country because you can express yourself musically. Overall I thought the crowd really enjoyed us down here and I'm sure we will be returning to Brazil soon.

New Beat I'm Writing To

Scratch Tracks
Sometimes people ask me how I write a song. I never really know how to answer the question because every song is different but a lot of the time I make the basic track on my computer and play it over and over again until lyrics start to form. Before we released Bright Side of Life we were writing the final two songs on the album, Too Rude and Lazy Afternoon. Here's the scratch tracks I composed and listened to on my computer.
